Art-A-Whirl® is a district-wide open studio tour in Northeast Minneapolis. It’s a great opportunity to tour private artist studios and galleries, connect with the artists, and purchase original artwork. Over the last few decades, it has become the largest open studio tour in the country. Art-A-Whirl® takes place annually throughout Northeast Minneapolis, the third weekend of May.

Art Attack takes place at the Northrup King Building located at 1500 Jackson St. NE, Minneapolis. Free off street parking available! Visit the over 350 artists at the Northrup King Building for a weekend of self-guided studio tours, special events and demonstrations.

The Megan Bell Studio is excited to announce that we will be participating once again during NEMAA’s Art-A-Whirl this year!
Though the event is officially Friday-Sunday, due to a scheduling conflict Friday evening, my studio will only be open Saturday, 12-8 and Sunday, 12-5. Still plenty of time to visit!

In May of 2022 I lost my mom to pancreatic cancer. Needless to say, this summer has been a trying one dealing with this loss while also doing my best to be the responsible daughter (fake it ‘til you make it!) helping to wrap up her affairs. Painting was more than I could manage for the first couple of months but thankfully has once again been my saving grace.
